The South Alabama Mentoring Coalition has come together to create Mentor Pride in an effort to raise awareness about the need for male mentors across all of their partnering programs.
Mentor Pride announces the launch of the new website, mentorpride.org, targeting males to volunteer as mentors to impressionable kids in the Mobile area.
The website allows for potential volunteers to learn more about the programs available and easy ways for them to be directed toward the program that will best suite them and a child in need of guidance. The site also allows for easy access to any news about any of the mentoring programs and events that are hosted.
Mentor Pride was created for the purpose of attracting male mentors, but female mentors are always welcome to volunteer their time through Mentor Pride as well. Learn more about Mentor Pride here.
